“Don't listen to other reviews lamenting that a pub that was once neglected and falling down now has a new lease of life! Yes, it's not a pub anymore, however the new owners have approached the restoration with care, and as they should have also put their own creative spin on the decor. The building is simply lovely, full of preserved history and decked in artworks painted by the owner. The while place feels very comfortable and welcoming. Lovely views, serviceable rooms, and great owners. Highly recommended if you're in the area and want to really relax.”

The service was great and having taken the option to stay the night we were treated to a very comfortable room and great company. All in all a fantastic venue.”

“There is so much character and beauty everywhere you look! The garden is gorgeous, the art full of surprises. There are meals and drinks available - I had a great flat white and an incredible almond, choc and cardamon torte - moist and rich. There are a range of amazing and unique rooms throughout this historic building, each one carefully curated by Katie, who is also amazing and unique. Set in a charming village in the hinterland of the sapphire coast this is a great place to stop, stay and soak in the atmosphere. Switch of an enjoy the experience!”

“I simply love this place. It's definitely not for everyone, but if you are after a quiet, quirky, magical, artistic space, then this one is for you. I have stayed here twice. First time by myself for four nights, and the second time for two nights with my sister. If you are looking for something different; place to be quiet in or meditate; appreciate the artwork that is all over this place; have the whole property mostly to yourself at times; meet wonderful random people and just chill, then this might be a place for you. The property has multiple working fireplaces, which are wonderful on a cold night. There is no internet unless you're with Telstra. I find this a good thing. I will definitely be back. Also last but not least, Katie is a wonderful host, who will do anything for you.”
